Obedience Classes

In conjunction with the Roger’s County 4-H Canine Unit, Claremore Kennel Club of Oklahoma will be hosting Beginner’s Obedience (Basic Manners) and Rally Obedience classes beginning Saturday, July 25ths.  Written proof (from your veterinarian) of vaccinations is required, and must include current Rabies, DHLP, Parvo and preferably Bordetella.  Sign up early…only 12 participants per class.  Adults and non 4-H members are welcome providing class space is available.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings, January 9^th through February 27th, 2010

 9:00 am -  9:45 am     Rally Novice.  Prerequisite:  Dogs should be trained to a Novice I level or above. 

10:00 am - 10:45 am    Beginner’s Obedience.  Prerequisite:  Dogs must be non-aggressive and at least 6 months old.  Children should be at least 10 years old. 

11:00 am - 11:45 am    Novice Obedience.  Prerequisite:  Must have completed Beginner's Obedience.

CKC’s building is located at 19825 E. Hwy 20, Claremore, OK  74018.  Approximately ¼ west of Sinor’s convenience store, and 3 miles east of Will Roger’s Downs. 

Cost is $55 and includes AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing conducted during the Fair.

Conformation Classes 

Conformation classes will follow Obedience classes at a cost of $2 per dog.
